To celebrate my birthday, I chose to turn it into a gesture of solidarity! So I launched a fundraiser in support of Operation Dove, Nonviolent Peace Corps of the Pope John XXIII Community.Operation Dove was born in 1992 from the desire of some volunteers and conscientious objectors to live nonviolence concretely in war zones. Volunteers live with the victims of conflicts 24 hours a day for 365 days a year, sharing risks and hardships but also hopes and possible solutions.Let us, together, turn this time of celebration into concrete help for this reality that I have been following for a long time! Make a donation instead of a gift... Is an unusual gesture but full of love!

Operazione Colomba's volunteers work side by side with victims in conflict zones, living with them 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, sharing risks and hardships but also hopes and possible solutions. Thanks to their international presence and nonviolent actions, they protect the lives of defenseless civilians and concretely build Peace where there is hatred and violence. Peace in the world is a common good: to build it, we need everyone's help.
