After graduating in May, I went to Lebanon again to share another piece of my life with Syrian refugees; like me, many volunteers are constantly present at the Tel Abbas refugee camp. In addition to the valuable presence in the camp, we accompany the reception of refugee families who arrive with the Humanitarian Corridors: I personally have had the good fortune to support some local realities in Veneto that have made this great choice of solidarity that is the reception.
In addition to these activities, there is a special project that we carry out, in which I personally participate with a daily commitment: the Peace Proposal for Syria. It is a space where study, popular participation and institutional meetings come together to give life to a concrete request of the refugees: to return home to Syria in a safe way. A profound space where everyone finds consolation and new challenges. The Peace Proposal is the future, a time never yet seen where each of us must absolutely put our desires!
