Hi everyone, I’m Maria Cristina, the “mom” of this lively group home, and every day I deal with the big and small needs of each of us.

Every summer, the heat gets more and more intense, making it unbearable to stay inside our home without proper protection from the sun. That’s why we’re thinking of installing an air conditioning system so we don’t “sweat to death ” and can enjoy our summer days more comfortably.

Another important need we have concerns our trusty minibus, a companion on so many trips and adventures, which has now covered a lot of ground. Now we need a vehicle equipped to accommodate people with disabilities, like our Francesco, and allow them to travel comfortably and safely alongside all of us.

Today, together with my husband Luca, and with a touch of emotion, we are launching this fundraiser—a small step in the hope of making these important improvements for our family. I am counting on the support of each and every one of you. Every small gesture can make a difference.
