The Giragirasole Community Center in Fano is attended by children and young adults with disabilities aged 9 to 26, like my son Alessio.From the very beginning, its goal has been to provide a peaceful environment where participants can build meaningful relationships and follow personalized growth paths, with activities ranging from swimming and dance to creative workshops and walks. For Alessio, the center is a safe place, and for us, it’s an important source of support.Today, the Giragirasole center is at risk of closing, and we want to do everything we can to prevent that from happening.Without concrete help, the center will close permanently on September 18, 2026, because it will no longer have the necessary resources. The Giragirasole Community Center, founded as an initiative of the Pope John XXIII Community, has been operating since 2012 in the heart of the Marche region, in Fano in the province of Pesaro-Urbino. Its goal has always been to offer young people with disabilities a space where they can express themselves and grow. Now they need your help to raise, by September 18, 2026, the €30,000 needed to cover the costs of additional educators, who are essential for guiding each young person and helping them realize their full potential.
