Help us get the Youth of Ukraine bus back on the road

In Ukraine's Kherson region, drone attacks target communities already exhausted by war every day. Here Youth of Ukraine has been working with the Pope John XXIII Community (APG23) since 2022, including through Operation Dove volunteers in the field. While the staff was busy digging a well in a rural village the minibus was badly damaged. Let's help them repair it so they can continue to care for the victims of war.

In Ukraine’s Kherson region, where drone attacks strike communities already exhausted by the war on a daily basis, the minibus belonging to our local partner, Youth of Ukraine, was severely damaged while staff were digging a well in a rural village.

Youth of Ukraine has been collaborating with the Pope John XXIII Community (APG23) since 2022 —including through Operazione Colomba volunteers on the ground —to support the most vulnerable civilians. Today, that vehicle is indispensable for reaching isolated villages, transporting workers and materials, and ensuring the continuity of water-related activities in an area plagued by a severe shortage of drinking water.

Without the minibus, essential interventions risk coming to a halt precisely where the need is most urgent. With your help, we can repair it and get it back on the road quickly, because clean water means health, dignity, and the chance to remain in one’s community.
